Natasha Kanevski

Natasha Kanevski is an Israeli-American born and raised in Belarus, and based in Austin, Texas. Natasha creates meta-modernistic sculptures on canvas. She works in Monochrome to allow attention to concentrate on texture and composition, she has had works appear and win awards in juried shows across the US, shown with selected galleries.

She has participated in The Other Art Fair in Dallas ad Venice International Art Fair, International Art Fair ART3F PARIS ART FAIR 2024 and has an upcoming Solo Exhibition in NYC Spring 2024. In addition to exhibiting in art galleries Natasha works with interior designers and has recently been exhibited at THE NAVE MUSEUM, Victoria, Texas.

Her unique perspective, shaped by her diverse background is reflected in her meta-modernistic sculptures on canvas. Working primarily in monochrome, Natasha deliberately directs attention to texture and composition. This choice suggests a conscious effort to explore the subtleties of form and surface, emphasizing the interplay between light and shadow. Natasha’s sculpture invites viewers to contemplate their own existence, emphasizing both the fragility and that comes with being human. Her work serves as a visual meditation on our shared journey, a celebration of our imperfections and a testament to the profound connections that bind us all.
