Picture this: I flatlined in 2015, only to wake up as Captain Casual. Literally. Now my mission? Creating happiness.

They say the bird doesn’t rest on the branch, but on its own wings instead. And let me tell you, I’m soaring high on gratitude. “Captain” stems from my childhood explorations, sailing to over 40 countries by age 22, and “Casual”? Well, that’s a nickname that stuck, just like a big guy named Tiny. Post-college, I dove into the finance world, screaming into phones about stocks. But in 2015, after a maxed-out, unhealthy lifestyle, I flatlined in an ambulance. When I woke up, I was Captain Casual, a changed man. Shifting my focus from dollars to smiles, I now spread joy through colors and art.

I’ve partnered with incredible companies, from Louis Vuitton to Nike. I’ve painted cleats for inner city youth teams, advised on graffiti projects in Los Angeles, and worked with Under Amour, Steph Curry, Levis and others. From tie-dying buildings with rainbows to mixing graffiti with pop art, I’ve found my canvas. I’m living proof that second chances can be colorful and fulfilling.
